[Reporter] ✨ AI-based autonomous drones are among the most spotlighted technologies today.

[Reporter] 바람에 흔들리는 나뭇잎 등 미세한 움직임까지 포착해 어떤 장애물도 피할수 있기 때문입니다.

[Reporter] They can detect even subtle movements—such as leaves shaking in the wind—allowing them to avoid any type of obstacle.

[Ben](카메라 렌즈를 통해 상황 파악하는) ‘순수 비전' 기술을 이용해 드론이 스스로 위치를 정확히 파악하고, 장애물들과의 거리를 충분히 계산해서 이해하고 (피할 수 있습니다).🎯

[Ben] By using pure vision technology, which relies on camera lenses to recognize the surroundings, the drone can accurately determine its own position and precisely calculate and understand the distance to nearby obstacles, enabling it to avoid them. 🎯

[Reporter] 돌발 상황이나 장애물 감지시 별도로 명령을 내리지 않아도 스스로 경로를 변경하게 됩니다.

[Reporter] When unexpected situations or obstacles are detected, the drone autonomously changes its flight path without requiring any separate command.

[James] 낮은 고도에서도 높은 건물들을 피해서 비행할 수 있고, (GPS 없이 완전하게 자율적으로) 드론 스스로 그 목적지까지 갈 수 있는 그런 임무를 수행할 수 있는겁니다. 🏙️🚁

[James] Even at low altitudes, it can perform missions where the drone avoids tall buildings and can autonomously reach its destination completely GPS denied. 🏙️🚁

[Reporter] 유럽 연합이 방위 역량 강화를 위해 오는 2027년까지 투입하기로 한 80억 유로 가운데 상당 부분은 자율드론과 대드론 방어 시스템 등에 투자될 예정입니다. 💶🔧

[Reporter] Of the €8 billion that the European Union plans to invest by 2027 to strengthen its defense capabilities, a significant portion will be allocated to autonomous drones and counter-drone defense systems. 💶🔧
